The TAUERN SPA Hotel is your Base Camp for expeditions both outwards and inwards. In the Alps, the expression “base camp” is used to describe a base for longer expeditions in the mountains. So it is both base and refuge in times of bad weather, and as a place for provisioning and replenishing energies.
Expedition outwards
Because of its central location the TAUERN SPA Zell am See – Kaprun, at the foot of the largest wellness area in Austria – the 1,836 sq. km Hohe Tauern National Park – offers a wealth of expedition opportunities in the immediate vicinity. Both sports activities (skiing, snowboarding, ice-climbing, ice-skating, (snow shoe) hiking, (mountain) biking and sociable activities (toboggan evenings, feeding wild animals, boat trips, high ropes courses…). There is something for all ages!
Expedition inwards
After a day in the fresh mountain air, treat body & soul to some relaxation and warmth. Massages of your choice, supervised infusions in one of our saunas or simply some moments of relaxation in the salt water pool – all these regenerative expeditions will give you strength for new exploits.
