“Kidstein” Children’s SPA – our kids’ own water world
The “Kidstein” Children’s SPA is separate from the rest of the SPA area and is a place where children’s hearts beat faster! In the indoor children’s pool area there is a slinky slide – a 127 m long tube slide and snakes its way through different rooms and has light effects that make it especially exciting. Also a 9.7 m long water slide and an adventure grotto called the “Wolf’s Cave” for action and fun for everyone. In addition there are rain slides, spray nozzles, floor bubbles and different colour, light and sound attractions. While the “Kidstein” pool – 164 sq.m and 50–100 cm depth - is suitable for all ages, at the “Rehkids” pool, our squirting “Kitzi” provides fun for the very small ones.
When it’s beautifully warm outdoors, the children’s active pool with its 150 sq.m and 50–80 cm depth is not just a place for the kids to cool off. There’s also a water play hill with hand pumps, water locks and turbine wheels to provide a bit of variety for your little water rats. Likewise on the open ground – near the pool – there’s an easily accessible children’s play area, clearly laid out and separate from the quiet zones, with wide wave slide, sand play area with cranes, a climbing wall and wooden waves as seating for the kids.
But those who prefer their games and pleasures to be a bit drier need not miss out on the fun. In the creative room “Wildcreat” there are crayons and felt-tip pens, while in our “Vogelgetwitter” Karaoke room you’ll find microphones for the tiny singing stars. “Tauernplex” children’s cinema has performances for kids and your little mountain climbers can try out their Alpine skills on the 3-dimensional climbing frame, the “Bergfex”. And because children like to be quiet – sometimes -there is our “Bear cave” where kids can snuggle down to rest or sleep.
Child care and entertainment team
And because grown-ups too need a little time-out sometimes – our childcare and entertainment team offers an exciting programme for little ones from 12.00 till 20.00, all year round. It’s not just the children that benefit from the fun, games and loving care – parents too can enjoy some time to themselves without worrying about their kids. Child/baby sitting upon request and subject to extra charge and for hotel guests in holiday time there are additional special children’s programmes.
